Despite the entire Astronomer company debacle after the shocking revelations at the Coldplay concert's kiss cam, Chris Martin has prepared to defend why they are still choosing to keep their most iconic feature.
And it makes sense, surprisingly.
Why Is Coldplay Keeping the Concert Kiss Cam On?

After capturing the billion-dollar tech firm CEO, Andrew Byron, cozying up to his Astronomer colleague, Kristin Cabot, fans believed that Coldplay would be forced to get the concert kiss cam banned for good. Chris Martin, however, doesn't think so.
As Martin explained to Hull Live, the Astronomer incident wasn't going to keep him from bantering with the crowd, which is one of his most longstanding habits, "It is only recently that it became a... yeah. So yeah, life throws you lemons and you've got to make lemonade."
In his one truth, he therefore has no plans of stopping this habit, especially one that would prevent him from interacting with his audience. He proudly declared, "We are going to keep doing it because we are going to meet some of you."
In fact, Martin even poked fun at the whole incident by referencing it in one fan footage on TikTok, "Anybody in here with their side chick or whatever, I think you're safe here. I don't condone cheating... anymore."
What Happened to the Astronomer CEO and Former HR Chief After the Affair?

Byron and Cabot caused quite a scandal last month after being captured in each other's arms, innocently enjoying a Coldplay concert together. Little did they know it would be their last.
As soon as the camera hit them, they hid and covered their faces, leading Martin to think they "may be having an affair" initially as a joke, which later unraveled and turned out to be true.
This was emphasized further when Byron's (soon-to-be ex) wife, Megan Kerrigan, removed her last name from her Facebook account before deactivating it to keep people from seeing her life and status.
Byron was, of course, sacked due to the controversy, and since his involvement with Cabot seemingly had something to do with her promotion to HR Chief, Cabot took her own wheel and steered away from the company after the fiasco, as well.
