Keanu Reeves has got to be one of the actors fans have been dying to see in the Marvel Cinematic Universe and for years now, they have been campaigning real hard for the star of The Matrix and John Wick franchises to become part of the franchise.

Reeves previously revealed that he has in fact had discussions with Marvel Studios regarding a potential involvement in the MCU but admitted that they have yet to find something that would appeal to him.

If you'd ask longtime followers of the billion-dollar franchise, many of them are convinced that he'd give the Ghost Rider role justice and it's a fan-casting that has been going on for years now.

Australian artist @mizuriau even joined the Keanu Reeves/Johnny Blaze casting bandwagon and unveiled an astonishing piece that's enough to convince even the skeptics.

To be fair, there have been a ton of Marvel artworks making the rounds all over social media that depict Reeves as the hell-blazing hero but this is definitely one of the better ones. Check it out below:

While I do believe Keanu would make a good Ghost Rider, I feel like his age will become a major issue in his potential casting. It's worth noting that MCU contracts tend to be lengthy, especially for actors playing hero roles. Now, Considering Keanu is already approaching his 60s, Marvel would much rather bank on someone who's relatively young. I can see Reeves being given the Christian Bale treatment though, playing a one-off villain instead.

Meanwhile, Nicolas Cage's version of Ghost Rider is rumored to appear in Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, hitting cinemas on May 6, 2022.
