Keanu Reeves Debuts as Batman in DC League of Super-Pets Teaser

There is little doubt we'll be meeting some super furry friends in DC League of Super-Pets later this year. Naturally, they will be joined by the members of the Justice League as well. But who will play the Dark Knight in the animated film? A new trailer finally confirms that The Matrix Resurrections star Keanu Reeves will portray Batman in the movie!

The new DC League of Super-Pets trailer introduces Batman along with Ace the Bat-Hound as they talk about how a partnership wouldn't work out. After all, Batman isn't great with animals while Ace doesn't work well with humans. However, it becomes increasingly clear that they have a lot in common and Ace ultimately licks the Dark Knight's face, something that Krypto the Superdog believes is unsanitary.

There's a lot of hilarious new footage of the Caped Crusader and it's great to finally see and hear Batman in the new trailer considering that we have already met Superman who is voiced by Shazam! Fury of the Gods star Zachary Levi. Hopefully, we'll also get to meet the other superheroes when the film drops this summer.

DC League of Super-Pets follows Krypto as he tries to form a team of super-powered pets after the members of the Justice League are captured by Lex Luthor.

The film stars Black Adam star Dwayne Johnson as Krypto while his Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle co-star Kevin Hart plays Ace. They are joined by Vanessa Bayer as PB, Wonder Woman's potbellied pig, Natasha Lyonne as Merton, The Flash's pet turtle, and Diego Luna as Chip, Green Lantern's pet squirrel. The Joker star Marc Maron rounds out the cast as the villainous Lex Luthor.

DC League of Super-Pets is scheduled for release on May 20, 2022.
