KamiErabi GOD.app Season 2 was confirmed at the end of 2023 as the anime's official X (formerly Twitter) released a preview teaser announcing the second season.
The first season of the series debuted on October 4, 2023. The anime is produced by UNEND.
The anime follows Goro who finds himself in a tough spot as he grapples with life’s challenges.
He is feeling a sense of frustration for not taking action when he believes he should.
After witnessing a cat being struck by a truck and noticing the lack of help from others, he returns home to discover an unexpected invitation on his phone.
Upon accepting it, a small oni-looking creature named Lall materializes, revealing that Goro has joined a group of contenders striving to ascend to godhood.
Empowered with a single wish because of the app, Goro now has the unique ability to combat rival participants in the competition.
