The actress indeed has a long list of blockbuster K-dramas and movies but only a few questings for a variety show.
During her early years in the industry, she became part of SBS’ Inkigayo. It was followed by MBC’s Park Sang Won’s Beautiful TV Faces and her last variety show appearance was on SBS’ Good Morning in 2013.

Since the popularity of Boys Over Flowers, Lee Min Ho became one of the most sought-after lead actors in Hallyu and did not just K-dramas but also variety shows in Korea and Japan.

During the press conference of his film Gangnam 1970, he hinted that he is being careful with his appearance.
“If an actor appears on variety shows and imprints a certain image in the mind of the public, it would affect their acting career later on”, he said, adding “I will find other ways to communicate with my fans” making him active on various social media platforms.
Song Hye Kyo
One of the most beloved Hallyu stars, Song Hye Kyo displays her bubbly personality through guest appearances.
She even had her own reality show titled, Song Hye Kyo in Paris, but aired its last episode in 2007.
Since then, her appearance in variety shows decreased but became much more active in K-dramas; hence the birth of amazing series like Descendants of the Sun, Encounter, and more.
