I think it goes without saying that Zack Snyder's Justice League is one of the biggest accomplishments of the entire superhero film genre not only this year but possibly ever and that statement is definitely not an oversell. However, despite the film generating a lot of buzz and positive feedback from the comic book community, one of the project's lead stars Henry Cavill has rarely talked about Snyder's version of the divisive 2017 film.

Cavill was involved in the promotion of the project but for the longest time, it seemed like the Superman actor has been trying his best to refrain from talking about the DC film. Now, in a recent interview with Fox 5 Washington DC, the star of Netflix's The Witcher is finally sharing his true feelings about the film after months of silence.

The British star said that he "really enjoyed" Zack Snyder's Justice League and had nothing but praises for the 4-hour film. Sharin the significance of the project, Cavill said: "I thought it was a wonderful way of Zack getting his version of the story out, and important to do too. I thought there was a wonderful tenderness to the movie which existed and that was essential for the representation of Superman."

I gotta say, I had my initial doubts about the project but thankfully, Zack Snyder's Justice League was able to meet and even exceed my expectations. And while Cavill's DCEU future is looking even more uncertain by the day, I'm glad Snyder successfully redeemed the Man of Steel.

Meanwhile, Henry Cavill stars as Geralt of Rivia in The Witcher Season 2.
