Just a week after the release of Justice League Snyder Cut on HBO Max, the black-and-white edition of the film called "Justice Is Gray" is now available for streaming on the same streaming platform where the Snyder Cut was released, on HBO Max.

The official Twitter page of Zack Snyder's Justice League dropped the announcement with the caption that it was only seen by a selected few before and now, it is available to the public through HBO Max.

Director Zack Snyder called the black-and-white version of the Snyder Cut as the "most fan-centric, most pure, most Justice League experience." He shared in an interview with Minutemen that the black-and-white version is his ideal version of the film alongside it being released on IMAX, he called it "Justice Is Gray" edition.

Zack Snyder has been given the freedom to express his true vision for Justice League after the fans called for #ReleaseTheSnyderCut where they were triumphant after years of calling for the release of the film. The Snyder Cut faced a long and tedious journey before it arrived at where it is right now.

It will still be the same as that of the colored version of the film except that it is in black-and-white. The aspect ratio of the film will also be in 4:3 all throughout the movie which means that it would not be fit for a widescreen just as intended by the director himself.

The film posters of Zack Snyder's Justice League are in black-and-white as well paving the way to the black-and-white version of the film.

It is now available for streaming on HBO Max in 4K UHD, HDR10, Dolby Vision, Dolby Atmos on supported devices. It was released one week after the release of Justice League Snyder Cut, on March 25, 2021, at 3:00 PM.
