Justice League Dark Live-Action Movie Reportedly Back on the Table at DC

It looks like DC might still have plans to develop a Justice League Dark Movie.

Justice League Dark has been in production hell for the past few years – at one time, the movie was in early stages of development when Shape of Water director Guillermo Del Toro was working behind the project. Doug Liman had also been attached to direct a few years back, though the film never really kicked off under the Edge of Tomorrow filmmaker.

Now, according to a new post by industry scooper Daniel RPK, Justice League Dark is back on the table at DC. Though the post no longer seems to be available on Twitter, DC fans have managed to take a screenshot of the post, sharing it on Reddit for discussion.

Daniel RPK didn't include too many details about WB's alleged plans for the Justice League Dark movie, however, fans are guessing that Mike Flanagan might direct the project. The director is known for his horror movie background, directing, writing and editing movies like Oculus, Absentia, Hush, Before I Wake, Gerald's Game, and Ouija: Origin of Evil.

Flanagan may seem like a likely candidate for the role because WB has a history of using horror directors for its DC projects like James Wan who helped bring Aquaman to success.

For those who aren't familiar with the project, Justice League Dark is supposed to focus on a DC Comics team of the same name that deals with the supernatural side of the DC Comic Universe. The team consists of characters like John Constantine, Etrigan the Demon, Swamp Thing, Deadman, and Zaltana.

Let's wait and see whether this rumor really materializes.
