Marvel and DC Director Joss Whedon Was Reportedly Not Allowed To Be Alone With the Underage Actress in the Buffy Set

Ray Fisher made headlines after he accused Joss Whedon of being abusive and unprofessional during the Justice League reshoots. It seems like the actor is having some backups with his statement after some actresses from a past project of Whedon.

Actresses from Buffy: The Vampire Slayer have come out of the woodwork, supporting the statements of Fisher that Whedon is abusive. Charisma Carpenter previously said that Whedon called her fat when she was pregnant, did passive-aggressive threats, played favorites, and pitted people against each other to compete for his attention and approval.

Actress Michelle Trachtenberg supported the allegations of other co-stars about the misconduct of Whedon, she expanded her remarks. She revealed an allegation with some disturbing implications. Trachtenberg previously responded to co-star Sarah Michelle Gellar's Instagram post.

Gellar said that she is proud of her role in Buffy but doesn't want to be associated with Whedon. Trachtenberg shared the same sentiment but added certain circumstances during her tenure on the show.

Trachtenberg said that Whedon allegedly has inappropriate behavior. The actress alleges that because of this misconduct, there was a rule stating that Whedon is not allowed in a room alone with her again.

What made this alleged rule quite disturbing is the fact that Trachtenberg appeared on the show in its fifth season as Dawn Summers, where she was roughly the same age as the character she played. She was 15 years old at the time.

Trachtenberg did not expound on what happened between her and Whedon that led to the rule being implemented. However, it seemingly suggested that the actress may have been subjected to something inappropriate as an underage actress. It also means the other members of the crew were aware of the issue for the rule to be put in place.

Other Buffy stars that came out to speak about Whedon's attitude on the set include Amber Benson and Emma Caulfield.
