Joker Star Marc Maron to Voice Lex Luthor in DC League of Super-Pets

One of the DC films that are in the works right now is the animated film DC League of Super-Pets which centers on a group of DC pet superheroes headed by Krypto the Superdog (voiced by Dwayne Johnson) and Ace the Bat-Hound (voiced by Kevin Hart). Now, it looks like they have found an iconic DC supervillain that they are going to fight against.

Per Collider's report, during a recent episode of his podcast WTF, Marc Maron has revealed that he is set to voice Lex Luthor in the film. The character is famously known as the archenemy of Superman and now it appears that he is going to be the foil of the Super-Pets. This won't be the first time that Maron appears in a DC film as he previously appeared on Joker where he played Gene Uflan.

The comedian-actor is mostly known for his role as Sam Sylvia on the Netflix series GLOW and has appeared in several films including Spenser Confidential and the recent Aretha Franklin biopic Respect. Even though it is just a voice role, it is still a high-profile role for him as Lex Luthor is one of the most popular comic book villains and it seems like he will be the main antagonist of the film. If you've seen his previous acting roles or watch his stand-up specials, you know that Maron can have a commanding voice which is suitable for voicing a character like Lex Luthor. It is exciting to see what he will bring to the iconic villain.
