Joker Director Shares New BTS Images of Arthur’s Diary

COVID-19 has effectively put all film productions to a halt, and besides actors coming together to sing imagine, Joker director Todd Phillips has decided to share some new BTS shots from the making of his 2019 hit movie.

While we already have lots of great shots of Arthur/Joker in make-up, the post also gives us new images of pages from Arthur's diary. While we expect a lot of it to be jokes, some of them seem like nonsensical poetry; one page talking about a mysterious ‘Alex' and the beach, and the other page depicting some weird erotic art.

It kind of harkens back to the diaries from the movie Se7en which were all said to contain psychotic ramblings of Kevin Spacey's John Doe. We never really got to get a good look at them in the film, but it's said that they were all containing unique notes very similar to the ones we see in Arthur's diary.

For now, there have been rumbling about a possible Joker sequel, but with the comic book movie climate as it is, a lot of people are hopeful that Phillips just sticks to one film. While I know it's an unpopular opinion, I would actually like to see Jared Leto do one more take on his Joker. I mean, Suicide Squad was awful, but I thought there was a lot of potential with Leto's Joker; he just needs to be put in the right movie.

For now, the next DCEU film, Wonder Woman 1984, is set to come out Aug. 14.
