The official Netflix Japan Anime Twitter account has announced a livestream event that will showcase the streaming giant's upcoming anime titles. Anime Day will be hosted by Jon Kabira and Hisanori Yoshida and will feature a special presentation from JoJo's Bizarre Adventure Season 6 titled Road to Stone Ocean.
The special panel will also feature a musical performance by Yugo Kanno. In addition to that, the cast and crew will be in attendance to discuss JoJo's Bizarre Adventure Season 6. This includes Jolyne Cujoh voice actor Fairouz Ai, Ermes Costello actor Mutsumi Tamura, and Foo Fighters voice actor Mariya Ise.
So is it possible that the JoJo's Bizarre Adventure Season 6 release date will finally be announced at Anime Day? There is a huge chance that this is the reason why Stone Ocean has its own special panel at the event. JoJo's Bizarre Adventure Season 6 will adapt Part 6 of Hirohiko Araki's beloved manga. Stone Ocean follows Jotaro Kujo's daughter Jolyne Cujoh as she is framed for murder and imprisoned at Green Dolphin Street Prison in Florida. While in prison, Jolyne is visited by her father who warns her that a disciple of DIO had framed her and that she needs to escape.
JoJo's Bizarre Adventure: Stone Ocean has not yet been given an official release date. Netflix's Anime Day event will be broadcast on Nov. 9 at 10:00 A.M. JST.
