John Krasinski Seemingly Teases The Fantastic Four in New Video

There was a whole lot of ruckus when word came out today that A Quiet Place director and star John Krasinski had met with Marvel Studios.

The filmmaker's meeting sparked speculation that Marvel may be planning to bring Krasinski into the Marvel Cinematic Universe – there's long since been talk about the actor playing Reed Richards ever since Marvel finally acquired the rights to 20th Century Fox's mutant characters like the X-Men, The Fantastic Four, and of course, Deadpool.

Now, it seems like Krasinki himself has been teasing the Fantastic Four.

Posting a new update on his "Some Good News" channel on YouTube, The Office Star shared a new video covering interesting fan art. In the video, Krasinski brings up a piece of fan art that features "four panels," something which the filmmaker hints as the Fantastic Four.

"And finally there is this four-paneler, which I have to appreciate as it will be the closest I ever get to playing a comic book hero," the filmmaker joked.

This new tease is definitely going to add more fire to the speculation that Marvel's bringing in Krasinski for a Fantastic Four role.

Sure, the actor may have originally auditioned for the role of Captain America during the burgeoning years of the MCU, however, over the years, the actor has become the fan-favorite choice to play Mr. Fantastic, the leader and founding member of the Fantastic Four. Krasinski's wife has also been a fan-favorite choice when it comes to Sue Storm, a character Marvel fans know as the Invisible Woman.

Let's wait and see whether Krasinski really lands the role.
