John Constantine Joins Neil Gaiman's Sandman Universe This October

After his Rebirth series got canceled, fans have been wondering about the fate of John Constantine. He's defied fate a number of times before and he has managed to do so again, as DC Comics has announced that Constantine is returning but as part of Neil Gaiman's Sandman Universe. We'll see our favorite conman/dirty magician in a one-shot this October before his new ongoing starts in November.

The one-shot in question is called The Sandman Universe Presents Constantine #1, written by Simon Spurrier and drawn by Marcio Takara. Spurrier will return for the ongoing series, called John Constantine, Hellblazer though the art will be done by Aaron Campbell instead. Seeing Constantine in Neil Gaiman's little side universe is interesting, to say the least, and it will be interesting to see how he interacts with other characters here.

John Constantine, Hellblazer #1 comes out on November 27. The Sandman Universe Presents Hellblazer #1 comes out on October 30.
