Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker is going to be one hell of a finale for fans, putting an end to the Skywalker Saga once and for all, at least when it comes to the movies. We did get one last trailer, though many of us are expecting a TV spot or two with new footage to hype up the film some more. John Boyega, who plays Finn in the film, decided to add to the hype by sharing a brand-new image.
Calling it "The Finn" because he's around a bunch of rocks, this picture shows us a more intense and mature-looking version of this character we've been following. There will be a time jump after the events of The Last Jedi so we'll probably see Finn in a more proactive role when compared to his last two appearances.
Fans are expecting a love triangle between Finn, Rey, and Rose Tiko, though some of us are also hoping Poe Dameron will be involved. We'll have to wait and see if The Rise of Skywalker will be addressing that fact, though they'll have to do it in a way that doesn't feel too much like fanservice.
Will Finn make it out of Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker alive? With this being the final installment, many of us are expecting a couple of big deaths, including the one for C-3PO that may have been teased in the final trailer.
Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker will come out on December 20.
