It looks like John Boyega truly has his sights set on becoming DC's live-action Red Hood, despite mixed fan opinions on social media.

The talk began a couple of weeks back when he hinted at his desire to play the ruthless outlaw of the Bat-family. Replying to a fan who said he'd be a good fit for the John Stewart Green Lantern role, Boyega said that he had another hero in mind — Jason Todd, that is.

Now, in one of his latest tweets, Boyega shared an epic fan-made poster that depicts him as the DC anti-hero, giving it his seal of approval. Check out the fan art below!

While Red Hood would definitely be an odd choice for him, Boyega, to his credit is a brilliant actor capable of taking on any role imaginable. Recently, the 28-year-old actor called out Disney for its unfair treatment of his character Finn, as well as his co-stars Naomi Ackie, Kelly Marie Tran, and Oscar Isaac who all happen to be people of color.
