The public first learned about Snowdrop in 2020. This came after casting offers to various prominent South Korean celebrities emerged, including BLACKPINK member Jisoo and Something In The Rain actor Jung Hae In.

Details remained scarce, though, for the rest of the year. It was not until early in 2021 that it caught more attention.

Despite the controversies that the production faced, the filming ended in July. Now, with the upcoming premiere, promotions for the series have surfaced. As part of the effort, the two lead stars recently shared their experiences on the set of Snowdrop.

Jisoo Talks About Jung Hae In, BLACKPINK

In her recent interview, Soompi reported that Jisoo talked about her character, her co-stars, and the support she has received from the rest of the BLACKPINK.

She said that “Young Ro” is a charming figure in Snowdrop. She noted that it is the aspect of providing bright energy to people that makes the character similar to her in real life.

The K-pop idol, then, revealed that she got close to everyone on the set. She deemed the experience “fun,” adding that she met with them even before the broadcast.

Jisoo continued that she is “lucky” to have Jung Hae In opposite her, in her very first acting gig. She complimented him, saying the actor was “reliable,” who “listens carefully and sincerely thinks” of everyone’s concerns.

Later on, the K-pop star acknowledged the support she has received from the three BLACKPINK members. She stated that she also “gained strength” because of them.

Actor Touched On 'Chemistry' With The Idol

In his engagement with KBS Media, Jung Hae In talked about his chemistry with the K-pop idol, according to NME. He described it as "great," adding that she is friendly to everyone.

The While You Were Sleeping actor also praised Jisoo for her acting skills. It seemingly surprised him, considering that the series marks the BLACKPINK member’s acting debut.

Snowdrop will premiere on December 18.
