To give some of you a refresher, Renner was involved in a snowplowing accident on New Year's Eve. The actor suffered blunt chest trauma and sustained other injuries that at one point were considered life-threatening.

Since being discharged from the hospital, Renner has been keeping his fans updated about the progress of his recovery. Just recently, the beloved actor once again took to social media to fill his followers in, revealing that his rehabilitation also includes his mental wellness.

On his recent Instagram story update, the MCU veteran shared another update regarding his road to recovery while referencing one of the franchise's most iconic lines. Sharing a video of him doing some rehab sesh on a stationary bike, the 52-year-old actor included the phrase "whatever it takes" as its caption.

Of course, the line was used by Steve Rogers aka Captain America in Avengers: Endgame. Check it out here:

As it stands, we still don't know the timeframe for Renner's full recovery but some reports are speculating that he'll be out for at least the next two years. Thankfully though, all those rumors about him getting one of his legs amputated were already proven to be false and as you can see in his latest update, both of his legs appear to be fine.
