Actress and variety show star Jeon So Min to not attend the recording of Running Man due to a foot fracture surgery.

Due to a personal schedule, So Min suffered an injury after stepping on the wrong foot and has been complaining about discomfort.

As a result of a close examination, she was diagnosed with a fracture in her foot. To ease the pain, she decided to undergo surgery on January 19. She is currently recovering after the procedure.

King Kong by Starship, Jeon So Min’s agency, said that she needs to recover for the time being. The agency also reassured fans that it was not a serious injury and that the actress was doing fine.

It's only common sense that So Min won't be able to participate in the next episode filming as the show demands physical activities and games.

Running Man cast and staff members undergone COVID-19 testing

Jeon So Min is a regular cast member of the variety show Running Man. She had been working with the show since 2017.

Primarily, So Min joined the recording for the special feature for the year of the tiger on January 17. But due to her injury, she cannot participate in the next recording scheduled for January 24 and 25.

In addition, the cast and staff members of Running Man went into self-quarantine and rapid test when Super Junior Eunhyuk was confirmed to be positive with COVID-19. The idol member is one of the guests for the Running Man special episode.

Yoo Jae Suk and HaHa were simultaneously filming for the MBC variety show How Do You Play? when they heard the news about Eunhyuk.

The two variety show hosts immediately went to a neighboring testing center to get tested. The rest of the staff and crew of the show continued filming after utilizing self-testing kits and had confirmed to have tested negative for the virus.

Running Man members test negative for COVID-19

On January 21, Yoo Jae Suk's entertainment agency, Antenna Music, announced that the variety show host tested negative for COVID-19. He will continue his scheduled broadcasts as planned.

Ji Suk Jin and HaHa also tested negative for the virus, according to their representative. Jeon So Min also tested negative, however, she would still be absent from the future recordings for the meantime while recovering from her surgery.

Kim Jong Kook and Yang Se Chan also tested negative and would proceed with their schedules.

On the other hand, Creative Group ING confirmed that Song Ji Hyo tested negative for the virus. But she would be doing a self-quarantine due to the status of her vaccination.

Meanwhile, Jeon So Min recently appeared on the Channel A Kdrama Show Window: The Queen’s House. The series received favorable feedback and reviews from viewers and had pointed out the actress’ unconventional acting transformation.
