Sources close to the ex-couple claim that Momoa and Bonet grew apart because of different focuses. Still, despite their shocking split, Momoa has maintained a strong bond with his stepdaughter Zoë Kravitz who is set to make her comic book film debut in Matt Reeves' The Batman. In fact, his recent social media post is a testament to their relationship.

Momoa has expressed his excitement about Kravitz's DC involvement on numerous occasions and just recently, he took to Instagram to show support for the Catwoman actress. Resharing the official poster of the highly-anticipated comic book film originally posted on Zoë's account, Jason wrote: "so proud. can’t wait. march 4th love u zozo".

Kravitz showed her love for her pops and responded with a heartfelt "i love youuuuuuuuuu," pretty much proving that nothing changed between them despite the unfortunate circumstances. Check it out below:

Despite the controversy and all the hearsay surrounding Momoa and Bonet's nearly two-decade relationship and what led to its end, it's refreshing to know that he still has Zoë's back. It just sucks that they may never cross paths in the DC universe because their projects are set in different worlds but who knows, right?

The Batman is scheduled for a theater-exclusive release on March 4, 2022.
