Jared Leto's Morbius Just Become the Latest Meme Sensation

Jared Leto's Morbius has received discouraging reviews from critics and viewers prior to its theatrical release and was continually rained down with negativity when the film hit theaters. Now that the film stepped down at the box office and has unluckily leaked online while being on hold for its digital release, most fans now have access to Leto's anti-hero, which, unfortunately, seemingly made things worse.

It's no secret that the MCU fans didn't fully welcome Leto's anti-hero debut which earlier began when the film wasn't even screened in theaters, and exclusive guests who were invited for early screenings gave Morbius a disheartening review.

And it appears that the series of bad luck continues to rule the film as Morbius has leaked on several illegal streaming websites, which gives viewers easy access to the film and a chance to criticize it more. After fans have lambasted the film for its inadequate storyline and terrible CGI, it looks like they have now found a new way to blast the film, by making it the latest meme sensation, making fun of every aspect of the film in the most clever way.

If that's not disheartening enough, Morbius also flopped at the box office, grossing $46.9 million domestically and $55.8 million internationally for a global total of $102.7 million, earning the title of the lowest-grossing Spider-Verse film of all time. Aside from that, now that the film has leaked on several illegal streaming sites, the digital release of the film might suffer too.

Morbius follows Michael Morbius, a brilliant scientist with a rare blood condition who accidentally infected himself with a form of vampirism, giving him superhuman abilities but also a taste for human blood.

Morbius will be available for digital release on June 14, on DVD, Blu-ray, and 4K UHD with a "Defining the Antihero" and stunt team featurettes bonus content. While the Blu-ray 4K Resolution option offers all the bonus content.
