The 32-year-old started her career in 2002. She appeared as Zoey Brooks on the Nickelodeon teen sitcom Zoey 101, beginning in 2005.

But come 2007, at the age of 16, she became a subject of significant media attention and controversy after announcing her pregnancy.

Allegedly, this resulted in the cancellation of Zoey 101. Its final season wrapped its filming in August 2007, but it didn’t release until the next year.

After giving birth in 2008, Jamie took an acting and recording hiatus for five years.

She returned to the spotlight in 2013 and dropped her debut single, “How Could I Want More,” from her country music debut EP The Journey in 2014.

Jamie is also part of the Netflix romantic drama series Sweet Magnolias.

There will be a major Pacific Coast Academy reunion in the upcoming TV movie Zoey 102.

Jamie is about to reprise her role as Zoey Brooks, who was part of the first batch of female graduates from PCA.

Viewers will also see new faces in Zoey 102.

The show will introduce Thomas Lennon as Zoey’s boss, Kelly Kevin; Owen Thiele as Zoey’s friend, Archer March; and Dean Geyer as the charismatic actor Todd.
