For the uninitiated, the Spider-Man star experienced a "medical condition" on April 11. What raised anxiety amongst his peers and fans is how Foxx's family chose not to disclose the actor's health emergency.

Although Corinne assured everyone that her father is on his way to recovery after receiving "quick action and great care", several reports recently surfaced claiming Foxx's health is rapidly declining and that his family is "preparing for the worst".

The hashtag #PrayForJamieFoxx even trended on Twitter which only added to everyone's worry. Thankfully, the 55-year-old star is in much better shape a full month following his emergency.

In a new Instagram update Corinne posted on May 12, the actress said that her father has been discharged from the hospital and is currently recuperating. She also took the opportunity to slam the reports spreading false information about her father's true condition.

She wrote: "Update from the family: Sad to see how the media runs wild. My Dad has been out of the hospital for weeks, recuperating. In fact, he was playing pickleball yesterday! Thanks for everyone's prayers and support! We have an exciting work announcement coming next week too!"
