It's been a hot rumor for weeks now that Amber Heard's screentime in Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom has been reduced drastically and it turns out, there's some truth behind the latest speculation surrounding the ever-so-controversial actress amid her ongoing court trial with former husband Johnny Depp.

Heard recently revealed in court that her character was given a less significant role in the Aquaman sequel. Not only that, but the 36-year-old actress accused Warner Bros. executives of plotting her removal not only from the film but from the entire DC Extended Universe.

After Amber dropped her latest bombshell, Wan's wife Ingrid Bisu took to Instagram to speak up against the actress' latest testimony. Bisu made feisty remarks seemingly directed toward the Mera actress on her recent Instagram stories.

One part of her statement says: "Lies are an ugly fucking thing" followed by a lengthier post that reads: "The truth will always bleed through no matter how many years or decades it takes. But the lies will have a domino effect and hurt a lot of people".

Sure, she didn't precisely mention anyone in her statement, but it isn't that hard to read between the lines, especially after Wan recently made headlines for unfollowing Heard on the photo-sharing platform.

As it stands, Amber is still slated to appear in Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom but it looks like her DCEU tenure is definitely in jeopardy. Things also aren't looking good for the actress as it seems like she's slowly losing her allies.

Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom's theatrical release has been rescheduled to March 17, 2023.
