The Guardians of the Galaxy Holiday Special was an awesome treat for fans as the Guardians gave each other some cool Christmas presents. However, the coolest gift in the special Marvel Cinematic Universe feature also happened to be one that had questionable origins. So how did Nebula manage to get her hands on Bucky Barnes' vibranium arm? Director James Gunn has just revealed how she got the rare Christmas gift for Rocket Raccoon.

In the Guardians of the Galaxy Holiday Special, the Guardians worked together to save Christmas for Peter Quill. This included getting him a present and their fellow Guardians as well. Interestingly, Nebula's gift for Rocket was Bucky's arm, something that he had wanted since Avengers: Infinity War.

So how did Nebula get Bucky to give her his arm when he previously refused Rocket? James Gunn answered a tweet asking the same question and as it turns out, she didn't even ask.

"She took a trip to earth and tore it off his body because she was feeling so Christmasy," Gunn tweeted.

We're hoping that Bucky manages to get a spare now that Rocket has his arm, and hopefully, he'll get it before he returns in The Thunderbolts.

The Guardians of the Galaxy Holiday Special featured Kevin Bacon playing a fictional version of himself and he truly hams it up in the Marvel Cinematic Universe special feature. Although it is unclear if Bacon will be brought back in Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3, it would be an awesome treat.

Guardians of the Galaxy Holiday Special is now streaming on Disney+. Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 is set to premiere in theaters on May 5, 2023.
