John Krasinski dropped a major Jack Ryan Season 4 update after the release of Jack Ryan Season 3. By the looks of it, fans no longer have to wait for another couple of years as the show’s final season’s filming has already wrapped up.
It took more than three years before Amazon Prime dropped Jack Ryan Season 3, mostly due to the filming delays brought on by the COVID-19 pandemic. Now that they have filmed the third season and Jack Ryan Season 4, the last and the final season may soon come.
John Krasinksi Discusses Jack Ryan Season 4
In an interview with The Wrap, the actor revealed that the filming for the fourth season had already wrapped up, shooting the final episodes back-to-back with the third season.
“We already finished [Season 4]. We actually shot three and four back-to-back. So that was the whole idea,” he said. “Knowing that the fans would go so long in between two and three, we decided to do three and four back-to-back so that they wouldn’t have to wait that long again.”

Seasons 1 and 2 were released only a year apart, but it took the third season three years before it was finally out.
Amazon renewed the show for the fourth and final season early, so Krasinski and the rest of the show’s cast and crew could take advantage of the current situation and continue filming for the series.
“What an incredible challenge that was for all of us to be [filming for] what was over a year and a half. We had a small break in the middle,” he continued.

“But we were essentially away from our families for over a year and a half,” he added. “And not just New York to L.A., we’re in Budapest and Slovakia, and Prague and wherever else. Canary Islands. It’s a blessing to do it, but it’s tough nonetheless.”
What Will Happen in Jack Ryan Season 4?
As this will be the last time fans see Krasinski as the much-loved CIA analyst Jack Ryan, Emily Blunt’s husband revealed it would be a “celebration of sorts” for the show’s ensemble.
“It being the last season of the show, I think it’s really a celebration of this team, it’s a celebration of trust, and how nothing’s gonna get done if we can’t rely on each other,” the 43-year-old stated. “So it really was – probably the most ensemble of all the seasons is in Season 4, and how we all work together. That one I’m really looking forward to.”

He also teased that Jack Ryan Season 4 would be a nod to his co-stars, Wendell Pierce and Michael Kelly, who play the roles of James Greer and Mike November.
“Clearly, it’s bittersweet to have it be the last season, but to get to do it with these guys was fantastic,” he revealed.
There are no words yet on when the final season will be out.
