Marvel fans and K-Drama stans, rejoice! The agency of Park Seo Joon on Friday has officially confirmed his participation in an upcoming Marvel Studios film, AllKpop reports.

The 32-year-old Korean actor left South Korea on Friday afternoon, bound for Los Angeles to work on his project with Marvel Studios.
"Hello, this is Park Seo Joon's agency Awesome ENT. It's true that Park Seo Joon departed for Los Angeles earlier this afternoon after confirming his casting in the new Marvel Studios film," his talent management team, Awesome ENT, said in its official statement.
Park Seo Joon travels to Hollywood
Earlier during that day, entertainment insiders spotted Park Seo Joon departing from Seoul, the South Korean capital, on his way to Los Angeles in California via the Incheon International Airport. Many speculated that was the official travel directive as he will begin with the project in Hollywood, until his talent agency, Awesome ENT officially confirmed this is the purpose of his trip.
"First, we would like to sincerely thank those of you who have shown great interest in Park Seo Joon's new challenge. We know very well that you are all very curious about what production he will star in, what his character will be, where he will film, for how long, and more," the agency added.

What will be Park Seo Joon's role in the Marvel Studios production?
Given his entertainment credentials, Park Seo Joon is the perfect choice to star in a Hollywood film. However, what will his role be?
There have been previous rumors that stated Park Seo Joon will appear in the movie, The Marvels, which is also the sequel to Captain Marvel, after the popular film database platform IMDb posted his photo as part of the cast.
Those speculations further noted that he has reportedly been cast as Amadeus Cho or Brawn, a Korean-American teen hero in the Marvel Universe. Little Woods director Nia DaCosta is slated to direct the film.
The Marvels is an upcoming superhero movie that features the characters of Captain Marvel or Carol Danvers, Ms. Marvel or Kamala Khan, and Monica Rambeau, among many others.

Despite the many speculations for Park Seo Joon's newest project, there is no official confirmation yet on what movie the "Itaewon Class" actor will participate in, as well as his character. However, his management said they will reveal the details soon.
"However, we will not publicize more specific details until a later time. We now ask that you cheer on Park Seo Joon so that he can wrap up his filming successfully and return safely. Thank you," Awesome ENT stated.
