The Girl I Like Forgot Her Glasses: Summer 23's Hit Romance Anime
The Girl I Like Forgot Her Glasses follows a boy named Kaede Komura and his seatmate, Ai Mie.
Kaede has always found Ai cute, and he wishes she would look at him. One day, he notices something is a bit different about her eyes; and the pattern continues.
Kaede soon finds out that Ai, who has poor vision, keeps forgetting or losing her glasses. So, he starts helping her out, and as she relies on him more and more, his romantic feelings are amplified.
As Kaede becomes the person Ai always hopes to see, expect many comedic situations to unfold.
There isn't very much depth to speak of beyond that, and viewers might find the situations Ai finds herself in because of her short-sightedness rather compromising due to Kaede's gaze.

The Girl I Like Forgot Her Glasses is based on a manga written and illustrated by Koume Fujichika.
Fujichika has also penned another romantic comedy titled I Love The Older Girl Next Door. Both manga are marketed as shounen.

The first chapter came out in 2018. Initially, it was published on mangaka Koume Fujichika's Twitter account before being picked up by Square Enix's Monthly Gangan Joker magazine a few months later.
If you would like to find out whether Kaede and Ai end up together, you will have to wait for a definitive answer.
Although, being a romance anime, we have a good idea about how this will go.
