Their shared pursuit of her sparked an unending feud between the rival gangs from both schools. But during a truth or dare game, Yao announces that her crush is Xiaoxiu.
When the gang members from Chengbei High School found out about Xiaoxiu secretly loving Yao, they picked him up.
As they beat him, Xiaoxiu fell into the river. As he drowned, he came across a faint light emanating from a cube.
