What could be more satisfying than defeating your evil mother-in-law from your life? Well, as much as Steffy finally gets the heinous woman off her back, there's also the risk of losing herself from the series. That said, is Steffy coming back to The Bold and the Beautiful? Is she really dead?

Who is Steffy in The Bold and the Beautiful?
Steffy (played by Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) and Sheila (Kimberlin Brown) have long been rivals in the long-running soap opera and it all began the day Steffy married Sheila's son, Finn (Tanner Novlan).
Knowing how soap operas usually go, Sheila orchestrates her schemes to get rid of Steffy and have her stay away from her and her family as soon as possible.
However, the more she tries to, the more she realizes Steffy is not the type to back down and heed her mother-in-law's ill wishes. This brings us to what happened in the latest episode of The Bold and the Beautiful.
Does Sheila Kill Steffy on The Bold and the Beautiful?
On the latest episode of The Bold and the Beautiful, Sheila has been stalking outside of Steffy's home in the bushes of her garden.
"Steffy Forrester," Sheila declares to herself, "you die tonight!"
With everyone on the edge of their seats, many are wondering: will Sheila succeed in her plan or will Steffy ultimately win this showdown?
It is worth mentioning that the death of either character would also mean bad news for the actresses, indicating they could lose their place on the show.
However, given Sheila's history of deaths and unbending will to still live after her incidents, fans hope Sheila finally loses.
So, what happened here? Well, Sheila's plan gets foiled.

Is Steffy Dead in the Soap Opera?
While Sheila attempted to kill Steffy that night, the latter turned the tables and managed to stab Sheila right in the heart. The fans witness Sheila freeze on the ground with her eyes open.
In a recent interview with TV Insider, the Sheila actress admitted that it was a "tough place" to find that she'll be leaving the series soon.
However, at the same time, she shed light with optimism by saying, "I guess if anyone [were to] take Sheila down, I'm happy it's Steffy."
Wood, on the other hand, cheers for the long-awaited character arc for Steffy: "For Steffy, hallelujah! This is her moment. How long has it taken Steffy to take her down and it's finally happening, so it's going to be a big shock."
While this doesn't secure Steffy's future in the soap opera, leaving Sheila in the dust is a bigger step for the character than anyone could imagine happening on The Bold and the Beautiful.
