Is SK8 The Infinity New Anime Project a Spin-Off or Season 2?

It has been some time since we got any updates from SK8 The Infinity. Luckily, it looks like the series is far from over.

It has just been confirmed that a new project is now in development as well as two-stage plays based on the show. But will the new project actually serve as a spin-off to Reki and Langa's story or is it SK8 The Infinity Season 2?

The announcement was made at the SK8 Masquerade of Love event where a new teaser was also dropped. Check it out below.

The teaser confirms that a new anime project is now in production although details were not immediately revealed. Instead, fans will have to wait for another update on the SK8 The Infinity official Twitter and website.

But what exactly will happen in the new SK8 The Infinity anime project? Fans have been hoping that it would be a spin-off series that would follow one of the characters introduced in the show. For instance, it would be nice to learn more about Adam and his backstory.

On the other hand, people believe that the new project is actually SK8 The Infinity Season 2 and will continue with Reka and Langa's story. Although we are loving this idea, it is important to point out that the anime's details have not yet been revealed so it's best to take this with a grain of salt.

The first SK8 The Stage play will open this December, and the second play will open next January. Stay tuned for more updates on this story.
