Negai no Astro is the latest manga series by famed mangaka Ken Wakui, but it will be serialized in Shueisha's Weekly Shonen Jump magazine rather than Kodansha's Weekly Shonen Magazine, beginning on April 15, 2024.
Shonen Jump describes Negai no Astro:
A superpower x outlaw manga series that will center on Hibaru and will start with a fight over the successor of the Yotsurugi-gumi gang.
Fans of Ken Wakui's previous work, Tokyo Revengers, are expecting a delinquent story with Hibaru at the center of things as he strives to become the strongest yakuza with supernatural powers alongside his good friend Terrace.
With this, expect to witness superpower battles within a complicated yakuza family unfold when Negai no Astro officially begins.

Is Negai no Astro Connected to Tokyo Revengers? Fan Reactions and Predictions
There are not a lot of theories online that connect Tokyo Revengers to Negai no Astro as of writing.
Many are only seeing the similarities between Ken Wakui’s two works because the characters and art styles resemble each other, resulting in fans saying that their favorite Tokyo Revengers' characters are returning.
Given that Negai no Astro is a manga series that involves superpowers, it seems like it will not be connected with Tokyo Revengers, so don't expect Takemichi to suddenly appear.
However, there’s a fair chance that some of Ken Wakui’s characters from Tokyo Revengers, most likely Takemichi or Mikey, will have a cameo in Negai no Astro at some point.
As is customary for a newly announced series, Negai no Astro continues to elicit both positive and negative reactions from fans based on the character designs for Hibari and the other characters.
