From a Jedi Master in Star Wars to becoming Taken's legendary agent, Academy Award nominee Liam Neeson has become a household name in Hollywood. But is Liam Neeson retiring soon?
Considering his stellar roles in the past few decades, all good things must still come to an end someday. In this case, here's what Neeson has to say about his career's future.
Is Action Star Liam Neeson Retiring? What the Actor Recently Said
Best known for his 2008 government agent role in Taken, Liam Neeson barely had time to catch his breath as he went off to transform himself into an action icon.
Even in his 70s, Neeson has yet to take a pause from his butt-kicking time on-screen, some of which now requires help from his longtime stunt work collaborator Mark Vanselow.
"I'm 72 — it has to stop at some stage," Neeson said in a recent interview, noting that the audiences, his fans, would notice the difference between him and his stuntman Mark Venselow, "You can't fool audiences. I don't want Mark to be fighting my fight scenes for me."
He later added that he might be retiring his 'particular set of skills' in Action movies soon, "Maybe the end of next year. I think that's it."
While Neeson is looking to make his exit from action films, check out what we can expect from his latest projects below:

For now, though, Absolution is coming out on the big screens this November.
Starring Liam Neeson as the 'aging gangster', the main lead attempts to correct his mistakes from the past to reconnect with his family. If the criminal underworld he left behind is willing to let him scot-free, that is.
