Is Jack Lowden Playing the Next James Bond? Saoirse Ronan Reacts
Speaking recently with Associated Press, Saoirse Ronan was asked about the rumors about her husband, Jack Lowden, being cast as the next James Bond.
She noted that Lowden's Slow Horses co-star Gary Oldman "thinks [he is] James Bond," but she did not give any confirmation about whether the rumor has any truth to it.
"[That’s] its own thing. We’re kind of getting on with our life, to be honest. We have plenty of other things to be dealing with," the Oscar-nominated actress said.
"So, yeah, it’s not really a subject that’s coming up in our house, to be honest. The dog needs to be walked, the dinner needs to be made — we’re most focused on that."
Ronan added that Lowden is "having a good time" filming the upcoming season of Slow Horses, which some fans have cited as the reason why he is the ideal actor to play the next 007.
So far, there is no date yet for when Amazon MGM Studios is planning to announce the next James Bond.
