Harem in the Labyrinth of Another World is an isekai anime that joined the 2022 summer series line-up. In December 2020, it has been announced that it will be adapted into an anime by Passione. The series follows a high school student who was transported into a fantasy world that contains distinct cheating advantages. His objective is to finish his quest to be able to go back into his real world and gain a harem of beautiful girls.

Is Harem in the Labyrinth of Another World Based on a Manga or Light Novel?

The series is based on a Japanese light novel by Shikidouji and Shachi Sogano. The light novel was serialized online from 2011 to 2019 on Shosetsuka ni Naro before it was acquired Shunfunotomo in 2012.

The new platform has published a total of 12 volumes under Hero Bunko imprint. The light novel is still ongoing as of this writing.

A manga adaptation was also made using the art of Issei Hyoju. The manga was serialized in Monthly Shonen Ace from 2017 until the present time.

Interested readers can collect the manga into 8 tankobon volumes as of this writing.

By 2020, Passione announced that it will adapt the series into an anime. The series made its anime debut in July 2022 on various Japanese channels, including AT-X.

Harem in the Labyrinth of Another World can be streamed on Crunchyroll. It has been confirmed that the series will be released a Blu-ray and DVD boxes, along with two original video animations or OVAs.

Even better, Harem in the Labyrinth of Another World’s Super Harem Version will be released. It will have the same video as the original series but the Super Harem Version will remove the censors that can be found in the original anime.

This version will be part of the said DVD release along with a figurine of Roxanne which will be released in November.
