Is 'Bloody Ben' in House of the Dragon? One particular episode got fans thinking that the notorious Blackwood Lord has officially made his debut in the HBO series. But has he, really? Here's what fans think.

Who is Bloody Ben in Dance of the Dragons?

Benjicot 'Bloody Ben' Blackwood is essentially one of the youngest to become the head of the Blackwood House, after the passing of his father, Lord Samwell Blackwood, in Dance of the Dragons.

At the age of 13, Benjicot was more than the Lord of his House — he became known as 'Bloody Ben' after the Battle of the Kingsroad, where he led his army with the Lord of Riverrun, Kermit Tully, and his brother, Ser Oscar Tully.

Bloody Ben, Kermit, and Oscar eventually came to be known as "the Lads" on account of fighting together in their youth. As his name implies, he has a thirst for blood, which is how fans initially thought he had finally crawled his way on-screen this second season.

Is He Really in House of the Dragon? Why Fans Are Convinced

While it was recently reported he will be making his debut in the series in forthcoming episodes, it wasn't fully established which actor will play the character. Still, fans couldn't deny the resemblance between him and how they pictured Bloody Ben.

A specific scene in House of the Dragon season 2 episode 2 titled Rhaenyra the Cruel led fans to think that the show may have introduced the 'older' version of Benjicot 'Bloody Ben' Blackwood on-screen.

Unfortunately, fans would have to sit back tight and think this over as the man in the picture is NOT Bloody Ben. Or at least, it's not confirmed to be.

He was only credited as one of the 'Blackwood Lads' without an official name for his role yet. It is worth mentioning that the actor being compared in the above post is not the actor suspected to be Bloody Ben.

If anything, Jerry Wilder was only seen trying to hold the alleged 'Bloody Ben' back. For now, the alleged Bloody Ben actor has yet to be named.

Still, even if he were only credited as one of the Blackwood lads, one fan pointed out that House of the Dragon season 2 may be only establishing the group before declaring the real Bloody Ben fans have been anticipating to see on the show.
