What Is Banished From the Hero’s Party About?
Before we dive into the genre of the series, let’s find out more about its plot.
The anime revolves around Red, who gets a rude shock when he is told by the hero’s party that he is not one of them.
Deprived of the opportunity to partake in the frontline battles, Red is wounded and expelled from his adventuring party by the leader.
Unaware of the upheaval his sudden departure has caused, Red is seen enthusiastically working toward the opening of his herb shop.
Suddenly, Red encounters Rit, who ends up becoming his live-in partner.
Rit also happens to be the Princess of Duchy Loggervia and an adventurer in her own right. Rit sacrifices everything to join Red in his new endeavor.
Despite being kind and honest, Red harbors a secret known only to Rit. His true identity is Gideon, the brother of Ruti Ragnason, who is the hero of the squad.
It is revealed that Ares Drowa, also known as the Sage, expelled Red from their group after the Demon Lord conflict.
Although Red has moved on from the party, his past continues to cling to him.
