With numerous updates added constantly, Pokemon GO has been the subject of many a datamine, which usually leads to new surprises being spoiled in advance. Through this, fans have learned about new Pokemon being added, as well as events that give players new prizes and several rare Pokemon. In an interesting bit of news, fans have found out that Mewtwo would be coming back to the game and might have a new form never seen in a Pokemon game.
If the tweet below is any true, it looks like we'll be getting an armored version of the Pokemon in the near future. Amored Mewtwo has only been shown in Pokemon: The First Movie, as well as a quick episode in the original anime that had Giovanni defeat Ash's rival Gary with this iteration of the 150th Pokemon.
The fact that this version of Mewtwo has never been in a Pokemon game is interesting and those that have both Pokemon GO and Pokemon Let's Go are probably hoping it can be transferred. We'll have to wait and see.
As to when this Pokemon will be coming to the mobile game, we aren't sure. However, with Mewtwo: Strikes Back Evolution coming out soon, we can all assume that the Pokemon will be released before or after that movie.
Pokemon GO is now available on iOS and Android.
