Ironheart New Set Photos Reveal MCU Actress in Mo-Cap Suit

Marvel fans were able to see the first footage from the upcoming Ironheart series during Marvel Studios’ presentation during the recent 2022 D23 Fan Expo, highlighting the hero who will move the Iron Man legacy forward quickly and in a powerful fashion.

The new footage comes with the confirmation of Jim Rash’s return from Captain America: Civil War together with Anthony Ramos’ set role as The Hood, although there are still a lot of mysteries that remain unsolved ahead of Ironheart’s release.

With over a year until the show's debut on Disney+, there is still a lot of filming left to be done, although fans were able to see some of the costumes and effects that will be used through several leaked images from the set of Ironheart. Now, a new batch of leaked photos continues to trend with a new look at Ironheart’s leading star with some of her CGI-heavy acting duties.

In an Instagram post from @atlanta_filming, they shared several new behind-the-scenes images from the upcoming Ironheart series, which started filming this summer.

The account shared new behind-the-scenes images featuring Dominique Thorne in action, with the actress wearing a full mo-cap suit in the middle of the street. The account wouldn’t say exactly what Throne was doing, to save fans from being spoiled on anything about the plot of the show.

"Trust me. If she would have been in a practical suit these would be tack sharp head to toe. But, unfortunately, much like Shehulk, just this really stylish VFX suit. In first shot of the night she... hmm... probably a spoiler."

The account also gave fans a look at Throne in front of a White Castle restaurant that was also revealed in previous set photos, although they remained hidden from Marvel personnel:

"Riri is in her final suit tonight, exteriors but as I feared the suit is cgi. Regardless, I got shots of Dom in the VFX suit for you. And... like I said if I don't want to be seen. I won't be."

Marvel Studios’ Ironheart is set to be released on Disney+ in Fall 2023.
