Considering that the Marvel Cinematic Universe has been bringing back classic characters from the yesteryears, there's a chance another classic villain from Iron Man could make his MCU return sometime in the future.
Obadiah Stane Could Still Return to the MCU According to Jeff Bridges
There is no doubt that Iron Man paved the gates for the Marvel Cinematic Universe to grow over the years. That said, is there a chance that other actors, say, Jeff Bridges' Obadiah Stane, could return to the franchise, too? Here's what the former classic villain had to say.
"When I read the script, Obadiah Stane falls in that big vat at the end," Bridges detailed the big twist that should have had him fallen to his death via the Happy Sad Confused podcast, "And in the script I read and agreed to do, they pull my suit out and open it and I'm not there."
His death scene in the 2008 flick went differently, however, as he went out of the MCU with a literal boom. He fell to his death with seemingly no turning back.
But it would seem that the actor would be looking forward to possibly being resurrected in some way: "But who knows? It's all science fiction and I could pop up again."
Obadiah Stane was one of the first and biggest betrayals Tony Stark had to face upon kickstarting his life outside being the billionaire who owned Stark Industries.
There's a chance we could be seeing them face eye-to-eye once more, despite being in the form of a Doctor Doom variant. However, that remains to be seen unless Marvel or Disney has a say in it.
For now, Bridges could play his cards right if he sees any other significant role Obadiah Stane could play in Iron Man's life post-Multiverse era.
