While superhero movies and shows continue to be popular, it’s no surprise that Invincible became a huge hit. It’s not a typical superhero story though, as it offers a more violent and subversive take on the genre.
Following the season 1 finale, the show was renewed for another season, though fans had to wait until November 2023 until it was released.
As with the first season, the second season’s episodes were streamed weekly on Amazon Prime Video. Unlike season 1 though, this new season was split into two.
Invincible season 2 part 1 consisted only of four episodes, meaning fans have had to endure yet another wait for more episodes.
How Many Episodes Will Invincible Season 2 Part 2 Have?
It was confirmed that Invincible season 2 part 2 will feature four more episodes, giving the entire second season eight episodes in total.
This makes sense considering that the first season also had eight episodes, though it did not get a split release.
Being split into two parts makes sense so that new episodes get released as soon as possible. This has also been the case for many streaming-exclusive shows such as Masters of the Universe: Revolution.

Invincible Season 2 Part 2 Release Date Announced
Despite having to wait some more, fans at least have to endure only a few more days. That’s because Invincible season 2 part 2 will be released on March 14.
This means episode 5 of season 2 will come out on the 14th on Amazon Prime Video, with the next three episodes likely to be released on March 21, March 28, and April 4.
Will There Be an Invincible Season 3?
Season 2 won’t be the end of the series, as the Invincible animated series will continue with season 3.
For now, there’s no word yet on when the third season will be released. There are also no plans revealed for other future seasons so far.
