Isekai anime with an otome dating sim theme are becoming more popular every anime season. One of these shows is I’m the Villainess, So I’m Taming the Final Boss, which has an interesting premise just from its title. So, will there be I’m the Villainess, So I’m Taming the Final Boss Season 2? If so, when will it be released?

The anime introduced Aileen Lauren d’Autriche as the new villainess doomed to die at the hands of the Demon King Claude Jean Ellmeyer.

The anime's first episode aired on October 1, 2022, and its final episode aired on December 11, 2022, completing its 12-episode run.

Maho Film, the studio behind I'm Standing on a Million Lives and If It's For My Daughter, I'd Even Defeat a Demon Lord, produced the anime.

Is I’m the Villainess, So I’m Taming the Final Boss Season 2 Happening?

I'm the Villainess, So I'm Taming the Final Boss Season 2 is yet to be confirmed or announced by the anime's production or original creator, so fans will have to read light novel volume four to continue the story of Aileen and Claude after they tied the knot.

Since the series has produced 10 light novel volumes as of September 2022, Maho Film will have no trouble producing a second-season anime adaptation.

After all, the anime has only gotten through three volumes of the light novel.

If Maho Film decides to renew the series, the second season will focus on Aileen's diplomatic negotiations with the Holy King Baal, who was revealed to be the final boss of the third game.

In terms of reception, the light novel of the anime and its manga adaptation has sold over 1.2 million copies, indicating that the series already has a fanbase that will continue to support it if a second season is greenlit.

The anime, on the other hand, received a MAL rating of 7.37 and an IMDB rating of 6.9, both of which are significantly higher than shows of the same genre.
