Hugh Dillon is confident that his Mayor of Kingstown co-star Jeremy Renner will be fine after his tragic snowplow accident on New Year’s Day. After being in a critical but stable condition, the actor claimed that the Hawkeye star sent him an NSFW video.

Renner worried everyone when news broke that he was rushed to the hospital and brought to the intensive care unit after sustaining serious injuries and trauma following the mishap.

Hugh Dillon Strongly Believes Jeremy Renner Will Be Fine

In an interview with Entertainment Tonight, Dillon revealed that receiving a “profane” video from Renner meant everything would be fine.

"Well, I gotta tell you, on New Year's Eve, I saw before it hit the news, and I was just doing something mundane and all of a sudden—he's like a brother. He's family," the 59-year-old said. "And he is so committed and such a gentleman. I love that guy. And to see that happen, I just wanted to fly to him and fix it or what can I do."

But a day after the accident, The Bourne Legacy star was already at it, sending him an NSFW video.

“You're so relieved and he's funny and comic and profane and you're just like, 'Oh my God, Ok,'" he added.“"Any video where he name calls, you know you're doing OK.”

Dillon then called Renner a “force of nature” and promised their show’s cast wouldn’t hold their press story until he recovered.
