How Did Jennifer Walters Become She-Hulk?

The trailer did not show much how Jennifer Walters became She-Hulk, it only indicated that she didn’t ask to be like that but Banner still has to make sure she comes in prepared for it. She didn’t even want to be an Avenger saying that such is for billionaires and narcissists who are orphaned.

Other than finding out the triggers for the transformation which Jennifer considers the baseline of the very existence of women, fear and anger, the trailer did not expound on how she became She-Hulk but there are hints to it that connects it directly to the comics.

See, in the comic books, Jennifer Walters was shot by a mob and with her injuries being dire, she had to receive a blood transfusion. Since no one is around but Bruce Banner, he could not let his cousin die and he’d rather give her gamma-irradiated blood than do nothing. This prompted her to become She-Hulk.

When Jennifer transforms into She-Hulk, she may not be as strong as her cousin, but she is definitely brighter than Hulk in that form considering that she gets to maintain her intelligence and personality while being green.

The trailer hints that the mob is possibly appearing in the series as well but it must be noted that there is a car crash scene at first so possibly those are what triggered Banner to transfuse his own blood to his cousin to be able to save her and let her live even if the consequences are quite dire.
