It turns out that the dungeon was turned into a laboratory by the Maxwell family who researched on powers beyond magic. Given that they experiment on the dead hearts of dungeons, it cannot create monsters anymore.

Genia wants to find a live heart of dungeons to study. She also found out about a method that could store magic, the Curse Ore, and Elfrieden has tons of that where Kazuya realized that she discovered a rechargeable magical battery which could contribute big to the Industrial Revolution, however, that could lead to other kingdoms waging war on them. In turn, they offered Genia to marry Ludwin.
