Let's face it: We all want to have a dragon of our own after watching House of the Dragon. After all, a powerful dragon would be an awesome pet/ally and it sure beats riding a car. But what would you name your dragon if you had one? Fabien Frankel revealed that he would probably name his own dragon after the viral Emma D'Arcy meme.
For those who haven't noticed, Emma D'Arcy recently went viral after a clip from her interview with House of the Dragon co-star Olivia Cooke was shared on social media. In the clip, Cooke asks D'Arcy what is their drink of choice. The Rhaenyra Targaryen actor answered, "Negroni Sbagliato with prosecco in it."
Naturally, fans couldn't get enough of the way Emma D'Arcy reveals their favorite drink and so a meme was born. So it's no surprise that D'Arcy's castmate Fabien Frankel referenced the drink during a Q&A on the House of the Dragon Twitter account.
Personally, we would want a dragon named Sbagliato if we could have Emma D'Arcy calling it by its name regularly. We're hoping that Fabien Frankel makes sure that his ride has a special drink holder for a Negroni Sbagliato.
Although it's clear that Fabien Frankel and Emma D'Arcy are getting along just fine, their characters in House of the Dragon aren't exactly on good terms right now. After being rejected by Rhaenyra Targaryen, Ser Criston Cole has decided to side with Alicent Hightower, who also dislikes the princess. With that in mind, Criston is set to play a major role in the fight against Rhaenyra in the show's last two episodes.
The latest episode of House of the Dragon is now available on HBO Max. House of the Dragon Episode 9 is titled The Green Council and is set to premiere on Sunday, October 16, 2022, at 9:00 PM EST.
