The official House of the Dragon account on X.com (formerly Twitter) said, "Tomorrow. The first look at #HOTDS2 is coming with fire and blood. #HOTDnaCCXP," signifying the first trailer dropping for the new season.

Following this post, the account shared several new character posters with the caption, "Tomorrow. All Must Choose. #TeamGreen or #TeamBlack#HOTDS2." No time was announced for the trailer to drop.

The Team Green posters included images of Aegon II Targaryen, Ser Criston Cole, Aemond Targaryen, and Alicent Hightower. At the same time, Team Black featured Rhaenyra Targaryen, Daemon Targaryen, Rhaenys Targaryen, and Corlys Velaryon.

House of the Dragon Season 2 is set to premiere in June 2024, and tomorrow's trailer should lock down an exact release date.

A short teaser trailer for House of the Dragon season 2 was released in December 2023, but tomorrow's trailer is expected to be around two to three minutes long.

Season 1 of the show ended with a bang after the accidental death of Lucerys; his Mother, Rhaenyra, becomes filled with rage, which will set off a Targaryen civil war.

The new trailer should explore the theme of war and perhaps examine the rumored war between dragons, as today's tweets hint: "The first look at #HOTDS2 is coming with fire and blood."
