There are only a few days left before the premiere of House of the Dragon Episode 10 and HBO is clearly hyping up the season finale. The first stills from The Black Queen have been released and the photos offer a clear look at Rhaenyra Targaryen's Black Council.
HBO shared the first images from House of the Dragon Episode 10. The pictures focused on Rhaenyra Targaryen and the other characters currently in Dragonstone. We also get to see the Painted Table, which was initially seen in Game of Thrones, as Rhaenyra's advisors gather for a meeting.
This collection of characters is set to make up the Black Council who will support Rhaenyra as she reclaims the Iron Throne from her brother Aegon II Targaryen. Interestingly, the images also confirm that her sons Jacaerys and Lucerys, as well as her stepdaughters Rhaena and Baela, have joined the meeting.
Not surprisingly, there are a lot of photos featuring Lucerys Velaryon who is expected to play a major role in House of the Dragon Episode 10. In the preview for The Black Queen, there are several shots teasing Luke and his dragon Arrax visiting Storm's End on a rainy night. Unfortunately, this sounds like Lucerys is going to end up in a fight that he can't win.
House of the Dragon Episode 10 is going to be the final episode of Season 1 and that means that the series is going to end with a major tragedy. Moreover, it will be a long wait for the second season so fans will have a lot of time to come up with theories on how the show will deal with the Dance of the Dragons.
The latest episode of House of the Dragon is now available on HBO Max. House of the Dragon Episode 10 is titled The Black Queen and will premiere on HBO on Sunday, October 23, 2022, at 9:00 PM EST.
