Hot Toys Unveils Darth Maul Figure from Star Wars: The Clone Wars

While we don't have a look at Rosario Dawson as the live-action Ahsoka Tano yet, the next best thing is the figure from Hot Toys. Seeing as Ahsoka had her climactic duel with Maul in the last season of The Clone Wars, it's only right that Hot Toys should also give the ex-Sith his own figure.

Check him out:

Hot Toys - Darth Maul (Star Wars: The Clone Wars)

Here's the official description:

In the climatic final season of Star Wars: The Clone Wars, Darth Maul orchestrated the siege of Mandalore™ as a means to draw Anakin Skywalker™ and Obi-Wan Kenobi™ to him with plans to kill Skywalker and deprive Darth Sidious™ of his new apprentice. When he was greeted by Ahsoka Tano™ instead, he made the most of the situation by offering to form an alliance, two outcast apprentices joining forces to put a stop to the creeping evil of the Sith. After clashing lightsabers in the throne room of the capital city, Ahsoka turned Maul's own weapon against him and was able to capture the former Sith Lord for the Republic.

Hot Toys is delighted to continue expanding its Star Wars: The Clone Wars collectible series by introducing the new 1/6th scale Darth Maul collectible figure from this acclaimed series!

Skillfully crafted with authentic styling, the 1/6th scale collectible figure features a newly developed head sculpt with stunning likeness and separate rolling eyeballs system, finely tailored outfit, highly detailed mechanical legs, Maul's iconic double-bladed lightsaber and interchangeable lightsaber blades emulating the weapon in motion, a selection of interchangeable hands for posing options, and a specially designed Mandalorian sarcophagus inspired box.

This amazing Darth Maul 1/6th scale collectible figure is definitely going to be a great addition for any Star Wars fans!

What's great is, they managed to find a way to turn Maul's box into a series prop by shaping it after the Mandalorian sarcophagus that he's encased in. You'll also notice that the rest of his body is painted and detailed, so you can take off his robe and have a shirtless Maul swinging around his lightsaber.

Personally, I think the head kind of looks weird, but maybe it's because it's supposed to represent a much older Maul. Even his double-edged lightsaber is specifically different, seeing as it was split in two back when he fought Obi-Wan in The Phantom Menace.

We don't know when Maul is set to appear in Star Wars again, but a lot of fans are hoping that Lucasfilm would #MakeSolo2Happen and finish the story of Han, Qi'Ra, and Maul. With so many other series in the works, fans are hoping Han Solo gets one more chance in a Disney+ series.

For now, we wait for The Mandalorian Season 2 which comes out Oct. 30 on Disney+.
