High Cookie (also called Hi Cookie) is a fantasy thriller that serves as LG's debut drama for its platform.

Just like the name explains, the show is about a mysterious cookie with the power to fulfill a person's desires.

Choi Min-young (played by Jung Da-bin) gets involved in the chaos brought about by these cookies. It is up to her older sister, Choi Soo-young (played by Nam Ji-hyun) to rescue her.

It was only natural for Soo-young to protect her little sister. After all, she swore to protect Min-young at all costs.

Soo-young is revealed to be the person making these mysterious cookies from scratch together with Yoo Sung-pil (played by Kim Moo-yeol). The sales from the cookies help them make ends meet.

But as the mystery behind the cookie is realized, they have to make sure that the cookies no longer spread to another hungry student.

Although the plot of High Cookie sounds like something that comes out of a webtoon, the Kdrama is not based on one.

The show was written by Kang Han and directed by Song Min-yeop, who is responsible for Doctor Prisoner and Youth of May.

High Cookie was created by STUDIO X+U, which is LG's content specialist studio.
